Charlize Theron, one of the prettiest faces in Hollywood, is sporting a new look: bald.
The Oscar-winning actress was photographed in Los Angeles holding her son Jackson donning a hat that, well, couldn’t fully hide her completely shaved head.
It seems that she’s testing the boundaries of her beauty but as it turns out Charlize shaved her head for a movie role. Her rep confirmed that the new style is for her upcoming film Mad Max: Fury Road playing the role of Furiosa. The long-delayed project movie will start filming this Summer in Namibia, Africa. Directed by George Miller, it’s the 4th in the franchise which also stars Tom Hardy (Inception).
Theron, who also stars in Prometheus and Snow White And The Huntsman, isn’t new to changing her physical appearance for a film. In 2003, she gained 30 pounds, her eyebrows partially shaved, bleached and wore prosthetic dentures for her role in Monster. She has been working on the Mad Max project since 2009.
