The graduates of Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, had a good reason to get all excited during their graduation ceremony last Wednesday (June 6th), but it has nothing to do with finally getting their diplomas. Rather, it was because they found themselves in the presence of two of Hollywood’s biggest stars; Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes.
The celebrity couple was attending Gosling’s mother’s graduation and was spotted sitting near the back of the auditorium, often seen whispering to each other throughout the ceremony. When the 31-year-old actor’s mother was called to accept her diploma, Gosling quickly stood up and started applauding and taking pictures.
The two didn’t seem to bother going incognito the whole as word quickly spread around the auditorium – all thanks to Twitter – that the famous couple were in the midst. One attendee, with an Instagram handle of missaaj, even managed to take a snap shot of the two celebrities during the ceremony and wrote “Oh hello Ryan Gosling!” Good going, girl! Much appreciated.
