Rapper Snoop Dogg has been banned from Norway for two years after he got busted for carrying 8 grams of marijuana in his luggage upon entering the country last month, the Daily Mail reports.

Snoop was detained by authorities after drug-sniffing dogs brought him to their attention and was said to be carrying more money than is legally allowed. He was fined 52,000 kroner ($8,600) to the offenses. The rapper was scheduled to perform at the Hovefestival in Arendal, Norway.

Snoop has made no immediate plans to appeal, as what the rapper’s legal representative said, his client ‘can live with the decision'.

Snoop is not new to marijuana busts. Earlier in the year, he was arrested for possession in Sierra Blanca, Texas. He is set to release a reggae album entitled Reincarnated this year on Vice label using a new name Snoop Lion.
