Entertainment Weekly has just released a couple of exclusive images on their site from the soon-to-be released remake of the classic horror flick Carrie. The pictures show a not-so-sanguine Chloe Moretz and a never-before-seen first look at Julianne Moore as Margaret White.

When news first broke out that MGM has chosen Chloe to play Sissy Spacek's iconic role, some of the movie's fans expressed their doubts about the former's acting capability despite her good track record for portraying young but mature characters (e.g. Kick-Ass, Let Me In). But if you ask me what I think based on the actress and the movie's images, I’d have to say that things are looking pretty good.
