Rock legend Led Zeppelin has announced their latest concert film Celebration Day and a press conference was held this week in London to launch its release.
This is definitely great news especially for those Led Zep fans who are eager to see the band perform live once again. Surviving members of the group – lead singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, and bassist John Paul Jones talked about their memories of their last performance as a band five years ago. The show was their homage to Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun who signed them back in 1968.
Playing alongside the veteran rockers for the two-hour set is Jason Bonham, the son of their drummer, the late great John Bonham.
Celebration Day will debut in theaters on October 17 and following premiere on September 13. It will be released on CD and DVD on November with a deluxe edition that includes footage of Shepperton rehearsals.
