The release date for Steven Spielberg’s much awaited Lincoln movie, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, has already been set, and if you want to see it first, there’s only one place to go to: Google+. Dreamworks Pictures and Google Play recently announced that the trailer will be launched during a Google+ Hangout, which will be broadcast live on the ABC SuperSign in New York City’s Times Square.
The said web event will allow Google+ users to engage in a group chat video with Spielberg and Gordon-Levitt. Those who are interested in participating are asked to upload a short video in their own YouTube channel with the #LincolnHangout tag, and in it they are to introduce themselves and indicate why they are interested in the movie and what they would like to ask both Spielberg and Gordon-Levitt about the film.
You can get more details about the trailer debut on the official Google+ Event page here.
The trailer will debut at 7PM EST on September 13 while the movie itself is scheduled for a November 16 release, though there will be a limited US release on November 9.
