So we already know for certain that Michael Bay will direct the fourth installment to the blockbuster movie franchise Transformers, but guess what? He and producer Steven Spielberg are also already planning on a fifth.
The report was sparked when actor Glenn Morshower, who appeared in the last three Transformers films as General Morshower (ironically), talked about the continuation of the series at the Con X KC Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, where he mentioned being approached by Spielberg.
Morshower said, “After I did the opening ceremonies for the ride, Steven Spielberg walked up to me and chatted and said ‘You know we’ve got you set to do the fourth one and probably the fifth one on the heels of that,’ so I guess in December we are on our way to making 4 and 5.”
The fourth and fifth installments will be shot back-to-back to save on budget, like with Lord of the Rings. Transformers 4 is targeted to be released in the U.S. on June 27, 2014.

thats odd, last we heard in the UK was that 4 and 5 were “on hold” as non of the main cast would agree to do it, and that has always puzzled me……. i mean come on, who would walk into work on the last day and say no to earning millions more…. lol
