Paris Hilton didn’t intend to be negative about her comment when she made some statements about the gay community, claiming that she was merely pointing about the dangers of unprotected sex.
According to her representative, “Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life-threatening disease.”
The discussion began with her gay friend telling her about a cell phone application called Grindr, which allows gay men to find and date other local gays. Paris said, "Ew, ew," Hilton said, adding "Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS ...I would be so scared if I was a gay guy. You'll like, die of AIDS." She was caught when the conversation was recorded by a cab driver reported by the Radar Online.
The driver of a cab recorded only the small portion of the discussion. Paris’ rep clears up about her statement telling that the conversation was not fully recorded.
"The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex," the spokesperson said. "He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers. As she was being shown the website, her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who recorded this only provided a portion of the conversation. It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays. Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone's sexual orientation."
In a report by THR, Julia Roberts turned down Barbara Streisand’s offer to play the role of photojournalist Margaret Bourke-White in the upcoming movie Skinny and Cat.
As what they say, nobody says no to Streisand but Roberts does. It was not disclosed if her schedule was full or maybe because she doesn’t want to work too much as what she said before.
The film is Streisand’s comeback to directing and producing movies. It’s her first project since 1996’s The Mirror Has Two Faces, and the movie's story is about the photographer’s marriage to writer Erskine Caldwell.
With Roberts out of the cast, Cate Blanchett and Colin Firth have been included to star on the said epic love story movie.

It looks like ‘Gangnam Style’ has now officially reached fever pitch in the US as hundreds of people gathered at The Grove in Los Angeles last Monday, September 17, and performed a flash mob in honor of the man behind the latest Internet sensation now popularly known as PSY. It has become so big that even SNL made a skit about it. And if you missed that episode, guess what else? PSY was part of the skit too.
The South Korean pop star whose real name is Park Jae Sung was scheduled for a taped interview with Mario Lopez for Extra. But what he didn’t know was that the show planned to surprise him with a flash mob dance doing his signature horse-riding move led by TV presenter Maria Menounos. Lopez was even quick to tweet a photo of himself doing the signature pose together with PSY right after the shoot (see below).
After his interview on Extra, PSY was scheduled to make a return appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the following day, Tuesday. To which he wrote, “I will see on Tuesday~!!! and of you guyz gonna see us on wednesday~!!! YEAH~!!!”
Here’s a video taken by one of hundreds of onlookers at The Grove:
The official video of the mob dance was shown on Extra the same night at 7pm PST.

Kanye West will drop $1 million for Kim Kardashian’s 32nd birthday this October.
He recently spent more than half a million on his 35th birthday celebration. Now, according to The Sun, Kanye West is planning to spend $1 million for the woman he loves.
“Kanye has never been shy of splashing out on the women he loves, but this time he’s pulling out all the stops with presents. Kim has been really down about turning 32 and having two failed marriages behind her and no children, so he wants to make this extra-special. Plus it's her first birthday since they've been together as a couple”, one source declared.
He will also take Kim to the Pine Cay, a private island sited in the Turks and Caicos group. There he will be organizing a chef from a five-star hotel to serve them food every night while staying there.
Kanye West is said to be really in love with Kim. He also plans to spend on some designer presents such as a Prada bag with the initials 'KK', a pink bracelet, and a Chanel couture dress.
It’s been 15 years since the death of singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley and it seems like everyone has gone to make a biopic about him. There’s Greetings From Tim Buckley, which will be played by Gossip Girl star Penn Badgely, a fictionalized film based on the late singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley’s relationship with his father Tim Buckley, a folk music legend who died in 1975.
Then there’s A Pure Drop, directed by Brendan Fletcher and written by Train Hudson, which aims to highlight Jeff’s fun-loving aspects, a vision of Jeff’s mother who wants to put out.
And there’s still an untitled film that will be directed by Jake Scott (Welcome to the Rileys). Officially cast to play the role in that film is Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark star Reeve Carney. He will do all the singing. Production is set to start on November and it’s the one movie which has the exclusive rights to Jeff’s music and personal archives, thanks to the support of his mom Mary Guibert who is also the executive producer.
So which do you think is the best Jeff Buckley portayal?

The public has finally caught its first unobstructed, clear, and complete glimpse of the new RoboCop suit from Jose Padilha’s remake when it started shooting in Toronto on Saturday, September 15th. Two (2) pictures were taken on the set and it quickly made its way in to cyberspace courtesy of ComingSoon.net. Next thing you know, fans are already having a heated debate over it on Reddit, some even going as far as Photoshopping the leaked photos to show how the suit should’ve at least looked like.

If you’re familiar with the 1987 original version of the suit, RoboCop now doesn’t sport the dual-tone silver/black color combination armor but rather just a single-tone matte black finish. However, if you’re quite satisfied with the suit, fret not, because some say that there’s still a possibility that some CG might still be added later on in the final process. One can only hope, at least.
Jose Padilha’s RoboCop remake is set to release on August 2013, which stars Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) as the cybernetic law enforcer, together with Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Jackie Earle Haley, Abbie Cornish, Michael K. Williams, and Michael Keaton who will play the role of the villain.
