Last September 3, actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away at the age of 54 in Los Angeles hospital. He suffered a myocardial infarction. According to a rep for MC Duncan, he absolutely didn’t recover from the heart attack he suffered last July 13. His fiancé Omarosa Maginault was with him in the hospital where he was being treated. She only stepped out for a short period of time, but when she returned, he had passed away.
Duncan’s rep said: “Omarosa is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date”.
The Green Mile star achieved the Best Supporting Actor award at the Academy Awards for his role of John Coffey. He also starred in Armageddon, The Whole Nine Yards, Planet of the Apes, Sin City, and Daredevil.

"The entire interaction was like old friends having lunch. Jayden did not get star struck but was well aware of who we were with! They talked movies and super heroes and he was genuinely happy to hear about everything Jayden wanted to tell him. Christian, his wife and daughter are three of the most beautiful people we have ever met! Christian made these arrangements for us personally and ensured we were treated like royalty. I don't have even one negative thing to say about them. I can tell you that they were just as impressed w Jayden as Jayden was w them :)"
This is Bale’s second act of kindness in the past two months. Earlier, Bale visited the victims’ of the Colorado shooting incident during the midnight screening of his film The Dark Knight Rises.
It’s a heartwarming experience and Bale has pretty much lived up to his Dark Knight persona off-cam as he and his family are reaching out to others and helping them. I salute his gentle kindness and truly he and his family are some of the most beautiful people you’ll ever meet.
Yes, you read that right: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have just tied the knot, and this time the rumor is confirmed to be true, unlike with last July. The two got married at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, just outside of Charleston on the evening of September 9.
Local radio station 95.1 FM was first to get tipped regarding the secret ceremony about which it tweeted, “Hold up, there’s another story that it’s Ryan Reynolds and he married Blake Lively at the Cotton Docks today!” Details of the ceremony indicate that Florence Welch (of Florence + The Machine), a good friend of Lively, performed three songs live at the ceremony, and that the cake was delivered from Virginia.
Reynolds, 35, was married to Scarlett Johansson in 2008 and then divorced two years later citing irreconcilable differences. On the other hand, Lively, 25, previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio for five months before calling it quits. This will be her first wedding. They both starred in the movie The Green Lantern and have been dating ever since.
Representatives for both stars’ reps still aren’t available for comment.
On her way to the Toronto International Film Festival, Twilight star Kristen Stewart was caught on camera wearing the sameT-shirt that Rob was wearing last 2011 and it is very big on her so either it belonged to Rob or the two have his-and-hers T-shirts. She was also caught wearing a gold ring that most people say was a gift from Rob. It seems she's still keeping Rob close to her heart.
She will also be promoting her latest drama, On the Road.
The premiere will be held on September 6 and this movie promotion in Toronto will be her first red carpet appearance. She has been very nervous about her public appearance and is worried that her personal issue might affect critical reception on her film.
The media has been banned from asking her questions about her personal life and has been strictly told that questions about her cheating scandal are off-limits because she's been worried over the film's premiere.
Since Andy Lau backed out as the villain Chen Lu (aka. Radioactive Man), Wang Xueqi has replaced him for the role in Iron Man 3. Chen Lu has the ability to control radiation in different ways, and works for another villain, The Mandarin (played by Sir Ben Kingsley).
Other newcomers to the series include Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Ashley Hamilton, and James Badge Dale. Returning cast members are Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, and Jon Favreau, and of course, Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man. The director of the movie is Shane Black.
So first off, I have to admit that this is one of those rumors that I wish would be true. According to NukeTheFridge, one of their sources informed them that the Blu-ray release of The Dark Knight Rises is going to include 30-minutes worth of extra footage! That’s already a third of an average full length movie.
Details of the rumor indicate scenes from Bane’s origins like how he learns to fight and more flashback scenes involving Liam Neeson as Ra’s al Ghul. It's easy to connect the former with the statement made by costume designer Lindy Hemming in an early interview with GQ:
“The other thing that you should have seen during that sequence is him being injured in his youth. So one of the fundamental things about his costume is that he has this scar from the back injury. Even if he hasn't got the bulletproof vest on, he still has to wear the waist belt and the braces. In that scene in the prison, where he's learning to fight the same way Batman learned to fight, he's wearing an early version of his waist belt. It's showing support, but it's not the finished one he eventually wears. He's also wearing an early version of his gas mask, all glued together...
If you look at the film, unless they've cut it -- and I'm sure they haven't -- there's a whole early section for Tom Hardy where he's fighting and being taunted by people. He's got chains on him, and he's standing on a wooden thing while people are attacking him. And in that scene, he's wearing a much more ragged, primitive version of the mask.”
But before you get all excited for this Blu-ray release, it should be also worth noting that Christopher Nolan isn’t known to indulge in the practice of director’s cut, especially of this magnitude. He didn’t do it for The Dark Knight and he surely didn’t do it for Inception either. But then again, one media writer did make a point about Nolan’s use of the IMAX format, which has a 165-minute runtime limit that might have hindered Nolan to push the entire movie’s length even further.
In other words, this is all still just a rumor after all.
English rock band Muse has released a music video of their current single Madness.
The song is part from their upcoming 6th studio album ‘The 2nd Law’ which is slated to hit the stores on October 1. The album is a follow-up to their 2009’s hit The Resistance.
Visit their site where they made a short film to preview the new album.
Muse, like their contemporaries that include Radiohead, is one of those great English rock bands that emerged in the mid 1990’s. They are easily recognized with lead singer Matthew Bellamy’s use of falsetto with vibrato and phrasing. As what Chris Martin of Coldplay wrote on his Twitter about Muse’s latest song: "Having been their opening act 13 years ago I'm proud to say that I think this is Muse's best song ever."
In a move to reach the youth, President Obama unveils Harold and Kumar on the latest Democratic National Convention commercial.
The new ad features the President making a very serious phone call to the show’s host, Kal Penn (Kumar). John Cho (Harold) meanwhile keeps Penn company on the other end, sitting on a couch, watching TV, surrounded by pile of munchies like pizza, Cheetos, and soda.
A former liaison between the White House an Asian communities in the Obama administration, Penn will host the web-only DNC special “Live from Charlotte”.
With election fast approaching, candidates are doing different campaign approaches like this one but expect that some people may never like the way this ad goes since it adds humor while the country is still facing unresolved complicated issues. Just really wish Obama the best come election time.

Ashton Kutcher has already arrived in India, which is contrary to some reports that he is set to fly to the country by next week, and according to The Hindustan Times, he already started filming for his next lead movie, a biopic of Steve Jobs, at Safdarjung tomb on Tuesday (August 28) and in Vrindavan on Wednesday (August 29).
Ashton will be shooting scenes in Uttarakhand and Jharkhand, and will leave India on September 3.
Fans who had spotted him at the shoot were probably thrilled to see him in person. The proof of Ashton in India? Just take a look at a captured photo of him outside the popular Jama Masjid that has been circulating the net via Facebook and is now trending.
The shoot reminds me of The Bourne Legacy wherein the major cast flew to Manila to shoot some scenes and had the whole city going gaga over the leading actors. The people in India must have been very proud that Hollywood has selected their turf for the location.
