Arnold Schwarzenegger has recently just made another confession and this time it’s through his new book, an autobiography entitled, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Lie Story. In it, the former California governor writes about his “hot affair” with Brigitte Nielsen, his co-star in the 1985 film Red Sonja.

Nielsen, who’s now 49, actually had already mentioned about this short-lived fling before in her own memoir titled, You Only Get One Life which was published last year, saying that she and the Expendables star had an “outrageous affair” while making Red Sonja. The actress, who subsequently married Sylvester Stallone, said that she didn’t know that Schwarzenegger was dating Maria Shriver during that time.

In his book, the 65-year-old Schwarzenegger wrote that he knew that his whirlwind romance with Nielsen wouldn’t last and that it only made him realize that he wanted to marry Shriver.

In his guest appearance on 60 Minutes which is scheduled to air on Sunday, Schwarzenegger admits that his fling with housekeeper Mildred Baena was “the stupidest thing” he ever did to his family, especially his wife.

“It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids,” he said.
