Even though Thanksgiving is over, Kim Kardashian is not selfish when it comes to sharing her slim-down secrets for losing her weight from Turkey Day treats. The reality star recently lost her pounds and has reached a stunning curvy figure.
"With the Thanksgiving break now over, it's time to get back to the grind," Kim writes. "We all indulge a little over Thanksgiving after all, that's what the holidays are all about! But if you need a few workout and diet tips to help you get back into shape, here are a few tips and tricks."
1. Throw out those left overs! As delicious as they are, Thanksgiving is over. You don’t need to eat those left overs!
2. Grab some workout-related bargains. There are tons of deals in stores and online so treat yourself to a new workout outfit or some new sneakers that will get you motivated to hit the gym.
3. Find a friend! The best way to get motivated is to find a friend to workout with you. Kourtney is my workout buddy right now. Ask a friend or relative if they want to work-out together.
4. Don’t beat yourself up, but stay focused. We all gain a few pounds here or there during the holidays, and that’s fine. But get back into your regular lifestyle and focus on eating healthier and limiting your ‘treats’… after all, Christmas is just around the corner.
5. Drink more water. You’d be surprised the difference drinking more water can make to your weight loss mission and workouts. Most of us don’t drink enough, and you’ve probably been avoiding water these last few days and treating yourself to sodas, alcohol and yummy holiday drinks. 2.2 litres (about 9 cups) per day of water is what you should be drinking, so strive for that!
She also aspires to be an ambassador for curvy women. Watch out, Paris!
Now that the Venice and Toronto film festivals are over for another year, we anticipate the coming of another prestigious award-giving body, the Oscars.
As of this early, there are already favorites as to who will bring home the bacon. Movies such as Lincoln, Django Unchained, Les Miserables may have yet to be seen, but film scribes are betting high on these films.
One of the top contenders for the Best Supporting Actress award is Anne Hathaway for her role as a miserable factory worker and single mom named Fantine in Les Miserables. Many have turned their eyes on her performance after seeing the reviews.

Rihanna unluckily lost out her role in her upcoming film The Fast And The Furious 6 and it was reported that singer Rita Ora took up that part.
According to The Sun the role was offered to Ora since there was a conflict regarding Riri’s schedules. The insider said, "Rihanna impressed movie bosses with her role in Battleship. But schedules didn't work out and Rita really shone during castings. They loved her look and her attitude."
In the movie The Fast And The Furious, Rihanna played a role as US Navy officer which is the first film she debuted. Last June, she contracted for an animated film entitled Happy Smekday! which is due in 2014. She is also celebrating her new album Unapologetic, which hit number one in the UK charts.
The Fast And Furious 6 started filming last July 2012 in Surrey. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, and Michelle Rodriguez play the same roles in the previous installments. The new sequel is scheduled to release next year on May 24, 2013.
If OshKosh B’Gosh only knew that Justin Bieber was going to wear overalls like the one he did on Friday, when accepted the prestigious Diamond Jubilee Medal from Prime Minister Stephen Harper, I bet that they would’ve been more than happy to provide him with a wardrobe from their own product line of children’s clothing.

The 18-year-old pop star probably thought that it’d be a good idea if he dressed down for the occasion because after all, it’s cool to be a rebel, right? Someone who doesn’t conform to the status quo? Well, the only problem is this isn’t about status quo, it’s about proper etiquette and showing respect as many netizens have expressed all across the web.
NTS: Never wear overalls to receive Diamond Jubilee Medal from Prime Minister - Bieber booed during Grey Cup soc.li/KPpFHec
Despite the disapproval of many, the Prime Minister himself didn’t seem to mind The Bieb’s wardrobe of choice, as he posted a tweet saying, “In fairness to @justinbieber, I told him I would be wearing my overalls too. #cdnpoli #beliebers” But then of course, we can also assume that he’s just being nice.
The Diamond Jubilee Medal is given by the Canadian government to citizens who have made a significant contribution to the country. I guess we’ll just have to make dressing appropriately as a prerequisite to accepting the medal if we are to avoid this kind of incident in the future.
Personally, I probably wouldn’t have that much of a problem with Justin’s overalls but the fact that he didn’t even bother to take off his cap as he shook the PM’s hands just did it for me. What do you guys think of Bieber’s attire? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
Tragic news hits the sporting world as former NBA player Hall of Famer and now Houston Rockets head coach Kevin McHale's daughter reportedly died last Saturday due to lupus, an autoimmune illness that she has suffered from for several years. Alexandra "Sasha" McHale was only 23 years old.
McHale was hospitalized on November 10th for issues related to her condition, though the exact cause of death has not been released yet. One of her recent tweets had referred to them spending time together before her confinement:
The only good thing about being sick on my birthday is spending quality time with my dad. He's lucky I love my @houstonrockets

Thor: The Dark World will soon hit theaters in 2013 of November 8th.
Probably nothing had baffled anyone watching the news on WVII more than the resignation of its two news anchors. At the end of Tuesday’s (Nov. 21) 6 o’clock newscast, news anchors Cindy Michaels and Tony Consiglio shocked everyone, not just their audience but also their fellow news staff as well, as they announced their resignation from the network live and on the air.
“This will be Tony and my final show together here on ABC7,” Michaels said during the final seconds of the show to begin their announcement, followed by saying how “the last six years have been an interesting and enjoyable time” for them being “the longest running team in Bangor.”
Consiglio also expressed his joy of having been able to bring the news and then continued on with giving a hint behind the reason of their resignation saying, “Some recent development have come to our attention, though, and departing together is the best alternative we can take.”
Although the two didn’t specify the reason behind their decision to leave the network on air, Consiglio did however said in an interview with the Bangor Daily News that there were tensions growing between the talent and the station’s upper management.
Michaels, in the same interview, said that it was a situation that has impaired her ability to deliver the news in a way she was comfortable with. “It’s a little a complicated, but we were expected to do somewhat unbalanced news, politically, in general,” she said.
While many of their staff members were shocked, WVII General Manager, Mike Palmer, described the departure “unfortunate, but not unexpected,” and then saying, “We’ll hire experienced people to fill these positions sooner rather than later.”
To date, this has got to be one of the cutest online editorial video campaigns — against death!

Dumb Ways to Die is Melbourne’s Metro Train’s newest PSA (Public Safety Announcement), which is a 3-minute animated video that features urban vinyl-type characters experiencing fatal freak accidents. The video is beautifully capped by an upbeat and infectiously catchy jingle of the same title, performed by Emily Lubitz of Tangerine Kitty.
Metro Lines spokeswoman Leah Waymark mentioned that the company discussed with its employees the stupid things they have witnessed near train stations. "All our staff were talking to us and complaining about some of the dumb behaviour people exhibit out on our networks," she told ABC in an interview. "So that's really where that evolved from, and we workshopped the best way to reach young people."
Creator John Mescall says he was taken aback by the successful response to the video. "From the beginning we planned to make it very shareable, but look, you can never plan for something to be the biggest viral campaign in the world," he said.
In a guest post for Mumbrella, he also writes, "Firstly, we had a good idea. That bit’s critical obviously. But this idea came from an absolute truth: trains are the most predictable things on earth, and to be brutally honest if you decide to walk across train tracks between the platforms and don’t see a train coming and get hit by it…well, it’s your own dumb fault."
Avoiding train accidents has never been so happily morbid, or morbidly happy. Just promise not to do dumb stuff via the official website, and enjoy the video:
