A New Mexico state police investigation managed to uncover a plot involving the murder of young pop sensation Justin Bieber. According to KRQE-TV news, two men were arrested after a convicted killer by the name of Dana Martin confessed about his plan on having the 18-year-old Canadian singer killed together with three other unnamed individuals.

45-year-old Martin, who’s now serving two life sentences, revealed to the police that he hired two men for the job while he was in state prison: Marke Staake, 41, and his nephew Tanner Ruane, 23. In his affidavit, he asked Staake and Ruane to kill all four targets by strangulation using a paisley tie, Martin’s so-called 'calling card.'
Martin and Staake met while both were serving time at the Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility. After getting out of prison, Staake then recruited his nephew Ruane. They intended to carry out the plan and catch Bieber in between his concerts at the Madison Square Guarden on November 28 and 29.
In the statement, Martin also requested that the four people be killed in two separate attacks where the first two victims were to be castrated as well (with Staake getting paid a total of $2,500 per testicle). And contrary to earlier reports, it didn’t say that the third victim, referred to as “J.B.” and thus believed to be Bieber, was also to be castrated.
Staake was arrested by federal agents on November 19 in Vermont on violation of felony probation for aggravated burglary, according to News10 ABC. Ruane on the other hand, was arrested at a gas station in New York the following day where he was also found with the murder tools and documents containing information about the intended victims.
