In one of the most tremendous events in boxing history, the Juan Manuel Marquez-Manny Pacquiao IV fight was a huge success.
Although the fight ended earlier, fans were in a treat as they saw both great fighters going at it for the KO. Unfortunately for the fans of Filipino boxing hero Pacquiao, he lost the fight in a stunning perfect punch down to the last seconds of round 6.

As expected, Marquez and Pacman were eyeing for an early KO as Pacman got floored down in the third then bouncing back to give Marquez a dose of his own medicine. Before the 6th round, Pacquiao was leading but before the 6th round ended, both exchanged big blows until one hit ended it all. Pacquiao hit the canvas face down at 2:59 of that round.
The referee waved to end the fight and Marquez was celebrating at the sold-out MGM building.
To recap the whole fight, Kieran Mulvaney of ESPN's Heavy Boxing Podcast shares you of this classic bout. You can download the podcast or listen to it here.
Given that we now have 12 days left until Christmas, I thought that it’s only fitting that I feature a podcast channel with a Christmas special. There are lots of podcast episodes out there now dealing with the Yuletide season but all of them were pretty much about the same topic, and so I decided to go for something a bit different, thus I present to you the Monster Men podcast!
Hosted by Hunter Shea and Jack Campisi, their program covers all things horror, sci-fi, and the paranormal. And they discuss it with a sense of humor and macabre.
Aside from their main website, you can also watch all their videos on their YouTube channel (MonsterMen13). Moreover, you can also check out their Facebook page and tell them there what you think about the episode.
On their latest episode, join the duo as they honor the rogues gallery with their list of Top 10 Greatest Christmas Special Villains. After all, Hunter says, “some of the most memorable and beloved characters of the season are the bad guys.” So who do you think did they decide to put on the top of the list: the Abominable Snowman, Scrooge, the Grinch? Watch their video podcast and find out who it is! You’ll be surprise who they picked.

“I am having surgery this week and am relieved it’s going to be over with. It’s a blessing the tumor is non-cancerous. I’m anxious about the recovery but have great friends who will be playing nurse. I’m ready to get it over with and feel better,” she said.
Glanville has been enduring a difficult time in the past months, as she has just been caught in a Twitter war against ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his new wife Leann Rimes, after Glanville's nine-year-old son had accidentally swallowed some of Rimes's laxatives, making him ill.
Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty made headlines on November when she made a 911 call regarding a suicidal fan on Twitter, and now that news found its way back into the spotlight once again because the audio recording of the said call has just surfaced online.
The audio was obtained by celebrity news site TMZ and posted it on Sunday, December 9.
Doherty seemed pretty calm during the entire call judging from just the transcript alone although the report did claim that she “had no idea how to explain how to a 911 dispatcher why she was calling,” hence she just went for the “Hi, I’m a celebrity,” line to start off the call.
At the beginning of the recording, she’s heard saying, “This is going to sound incredibly strange … my name is Shannen Doherty and I’m an actress. I’m on Twitter, sadly, and there is a girl that is threatening to shoot herself and she lives somewhere over there.”
Police were sent to the fan’s address (which Shannen managed to extract from the fan) after the call.
Fortunately, they confirmed that the fan (who’s a 27-year-old woman) was okay. She claimed that she had no intentions of actually harming herself.
I guess that 9th episode of Season 1 entitled The Gentle Art of Listening where her character Brenda decided to volunteer at a teen crisis hotline might have actually paid off. Ok, I didn’t really know about that one myself. I just got that from a fan comment.

It is a time of sadness and grieving in the home of reality queen Kim Kardashian.
Her four-month-old Persian kitten Mercy, has been euthanized after struggling from cancer-like virus just a day after being diagnosed. Her cherished Persian kitten was a present from her boyfriend Kanye West last September.
Kim also discovered that she's allergic to cats. "I had never lived with a cat before and so I had no idea that I was allergic. I thought that it might pass, but after a few weeks I decided to go visit two separate allergists, one of whom said my allergies wouldn't get any better unless I started taking injections," she explained.
"I had fallen SO in love with Mercy that I wanted to try everything I could to keep her, but I didn't think it was safe to resort to injections, and it wasn't fair on Mercy, because I couldn't play with her or give her as much attention as I wanted to. Mercy deserved a mom who could really give her the time and affection she deserved."
Kim was unable to take care of her kitty due to her allergy so she decided to give it to sister Khloe's assistant, Sydney Hitchcock who recently lost her own cat after 17 years. But then her kitten was very ill a couple weeks later. Kim K explained, "Her stomach had filled with fluid and the doctor said she had a rare stomach cancer and that there was nothing we could do for her."
According to E! News, one source said, “She was upset about Mercy dying and upset that she was trying to do something nice for Sydney and then she fell into a situation where (Sydney) had to grieve for another kitty. Kim called the breeder and said they should be more responsible.”
"Poor little Mercy died the very next day. It broke not only my heart that little Mercy died at only four months old, but Sydney's too. Mercy was a gentle and loving kitten and we are all going to miss her so much. Thanks to Sydney for making Mercy's short life one filled with love,” Kim added.
“Rest in peace little Mercy,” she wrote in her official blog, where she also posted photos of the cat.

Bill Murray just did a dramatic entrance at his Late Show appearance this week before getting an interview with host David Letterman. The actor was tied behind his back, blindfolded, and pulled from the trunk of an SUV by three men in suits as part of an opening kidnap scene after he was introduced.
He was later untied and dragged to the show's studio then got hit with a fake gun. He got tripped down as soon as he entered the stage.
Watch out for Murray's new film Hyde Park on Hudson where he plays the role of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Paramount Pictures has just released the first official teaser trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness and it came in two variations: a US version and a Japanese version. So what’s the difference? The latter contains a scene not shown in the US version. Why? We can all only speculate, but regardless of what the reason is, both Paramount and director J.J. Abrams might as well give each other a pat on the back for creating quite a buzz about the movie, particularly among Star Trek fans.
In the final seconds of the trailer in the Japanese version, the additional scene showed an image that drew a debate between the fans regarding the villain and the fate of one of the possible main characters, whose identity is also being questioned.
Almost every major Hollywood and entertainment news site that featured the trailer has readers commenting and debating on which classic Star Trek character they think is going to make an appearance in this much anticipated sequel and what their role will be as far as continuity of the story is concerned.
