The third installment of Three Flavours Cornetto, The World’s End has finally arrived in U.S. cinemas and Empire is here to give you some of the movie highlights. The film is a 2013 British sci-fi comedy directed by Edgar Wright and written by Wright and Simon Pegg.

The World’s End is the follow-up to Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007) starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Paddy Considine, Marin Freeman and Eddie Marsan. It is about five friends who go back to their hometown and reunite in an attempt to finish their ultimate pub crawl 20 years ago, finally conquering it then accidentally become mankind’s only hope of survival against robots. In Empire’s podcast, meanwhile, the team discusses their favorite moments in the film, which is described to have a ballsy ending as the heroes are present to stop the apocalypse. They also described the acting and the hilarious plot.
