More and more often I'm growing tired of people trying so damn hard to be deep and profound all the time. It's so fricken pretentious. This is why I enjoyed the the pilot episode of The Four Bros Podcast so much, being a refreshing dose of good-humored randomness.

The Four Bros Podcast is actually hosted by Matt, Alex, and Jon. But they'll be joined later by a fourth host so stay tuned for upcoming episodes.

The show opens with an in-depth discussion on what kind of cookies are the best: moist, crunchy, squishy, and so on. (They had me at 'moist cookie.' Don't ask).

I had some difficulty with the sound balance and quality because at times the background music and ambient noise would overpower the hosts' voices, but the mere mention of cookies got me riveted. What I enjoyed about the episode is that it's somehow like a throwback to those fun stoner 90's discussions where you'd just ramble with your buddies on your brown couch -- I don't know why, but it always has to be a brown couch -- until you run out of words or weed, whichever comes first.
