Sapphire has just announced the new AMD R9 285 ITX Compact Edition, a tiny graphics card that’s perfect for building mini-itx rigs, and can replace your gaming console. The dimensions of this graphics card are 171(L)X110(W)X35(H) mm and it supports up to four displays.

It will have 2 versions: the OC version and the other one remains in stock. The OC version will have 10Mhz higher clock, while the non-OC version will have a 918MHz, and both versions will have a memory clock of 5.5Ghz.

  • The R9 285 is also equipped with the latest AMD Tonga GPU that has 1792 cores, 112 TMUs and 32 ROPs, with a 2GB GDDR5 memory across a 256bit interface. However there's still no official word on its availability but the price may be around $249.
