Square Enix has revealed that Sleeping Dogs will have a re-mastered version called Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, launching on October 10 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will run at 1080p resolution and show off its "upgraded visual environment of Hong Kong". The game will also include all the 24 DLC packs, from item collections to the campaign expansions in Nightmare in the North Point and Year of The Snake DLC's.

It is planned for release in October 10th in Europe and October 14th in North America. The PC version will have HD texture packs, so that you can expect clearer visuals from the game.
United Front, the game's original developer, will also be in charge for Definitive Edition. It has assisted Crystal Dynamics for PS4's and Xbox One's Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition last January.
Retailers ShopTo and Amazon have also leaked the game's release date prior to the official announcement from Square Enix. In Amazon, pre-orders of the game will include a 28-page art book as a companion.
The original Sleeping Dogs was released last August 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and it was dubbed as one of the best open world action-packed martial arts games.
