On a Gamespot interview during the 2015 Technology, Internet & Media Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen has hinted that there will be a Titanfall 2 that will land on the PlayStation 4.

“Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven’t yet announced, but we’ll probably have another Titanfall game,” he said. “It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that’s a huge positive for us.”

Titanfall was launched exclusively for Xbox and PC last March 2014, and EA was said to have picked up the publishing rights to keep it as an exclusive game.

Jorgensen has laid out EA's long-term vision for its first-person shooter games but right now they are focused on the upcoming release of Battlefield Hardline and soon on Star Wars: Battlefront, and next year it will be Battlefield 5.

Titanfall would have been a good shooter but it lacks a solid storyline, gears, weapons, and robot customizations. If it launches in all the platforms, plus multiplayer addition with a solid storyline/campaign mode then the game would make a very solid impact.
