Many fans of Resident Evil have been angered with the lack of local co-op in Revelations 2 on PC after Capcom initially listed it as a feature on Steam.

Modder FluffyQuack aka Sectus has released a mod that allows for a local co-op that the original game has failed to add. At present the mod doesn’t work in Raid Mode, but FluffyQuack is working on it until Capcom has patched the game with a local co-op Raid mode.

Capcom issued an apology, saying that the local co-op play on the PC version was “an unintentional error.”

“The feature wasn’t intended for this version and that caveat was mistakenly omitted from the product description on the Steam page earlier, and then included as soon as we were made aware." They decided to pull off the co-op play from the PC edition to improve its stability across different PC configurations.
