Pain and Gain is the latest film by acclaimed director Michael Bay which stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. This is Bay’s version of a low-budget style indie film despite showing off big muscles and ammo on view. The action-comedy tale is based on the true story of a group of personal trainers in Miami back in the 90′s.
The story was inspired by real-life troubles they experienced, kidnapping, extortion and murder after chasing an American dream that went terribly wrong. The film features a lot of violence that include shooting, chasing, fighting, and torture, as well as gratuitous sex and sexism, and drug use.
So this film is not your typical wholesome action-comedy flick, so parents should be wary of allowing their children to see this.

Move over Sir Ian McKellen, as we might have a new Gandalf for the upcoming sequel of The Hobbit. Willie Nelson dropped by at Conan o’ Brien’s late-night show and brought in a clip of his audition reel for Peter Jackson, hoping he would be able to steal the role of the legendary wizard Gandalf from the esteemed actor.
Nelson nailed his lines, such as “You shall not pass an unlit joint that’s just not cool” and “That giant flaming eye is freaking me the fuck out!” Michah Nelson (who acted as Bilbo Baggins) did a little musical as well, performing “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Orcs.”
At the end of the reel, Nelson left a message to Peter Jackson that he can hire him, then fire that Ian McKellen guy, who is a great actor anyway, but screw that, since he’s the iconic Willie Nelson. Now if that ain’t going to work, then he can also do the role of Magneto.

Reese Witherspoon was arrested after arguing with a police officer who stopped her husband James Toth, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The award-winning actress allegedly threatened the Georgia state trooper that he was going to be on national news after he handcuffed her for disorderly conduct at Atlanta’s Peachtree Road on Friday morning.
That didn’t stop Trooper First Class J. Pyland from arresting her with dialogue worthy of a film script. After that, Witherspoon has then issued a formal apology that includes a statement that speaks to her husband’s DUI charge.
Since then, the incident has spurred parodies on late-night TV, such as with Jimmy Kimmel and Jay Leno’s shows. Watch Leno’s monologue at his show.
