ABC has green lit their new TV horror 666 Park Avenue as it gets picked up for a full season. Sure enough, a trailer was released to spark more interest towards the series. Check out the video below (video may not be viewable in territories outside US).

The thriller is based on a book of the same name by Gabriella Pierce which centers on a young couple (played by Rachael Taylor and Dave Annable) who got an offer to manage an entire apartment building in New York City. Little do they know that the building is also home to a number of supernatural residents. Personally, I think of it as a cross between the TV series American Horror Story and the Stephen King movie 1408 (with John Cusack). How about you? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

Greetings podcast lovers! Today I just want to let you guys know about the ongoing podcast nominations for the 7th Annual Parsec Awards, which will continue up to June 1, 2012. What is a Parsec Award, you ask? It’s an award-giving body that celebrates excellence in speculative fiction podcasting. It also recognizes those whose works mark the pinnacle of this form of new media with hours of entertainment to their audience.

The awards is held each year at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia and was founded by NYTimes bestselling author Tracy Hickman, podcasting guru and author Mur Lafferty, and Farpoint Media founder Michael Mennenga. There are 17 categories wherein you can nominate a single podcast but you can nominate or send in as many podcasts as you can!

So if you have a particular podcast in mind that you think deserves to earn recognition then nominate away! To know more about the Parsec Awards or to start sending in your nominations, you can visit their website through HERE.

Other than Will Ferrell who also hosted that evening, the short’s guest stars included Natalie Portman, John Hamm, Justin Timberlake, and Michael Bolton, all of whom reprised their roles from their previous featured shorts.

The short started off with an intro courtesy of Andy Samberg together with Jorma Taccone and Justin Bieber (who filled in for Akiva Schaffer) and ended with Usher giving out a brief commentary. Got you curious? Then check out the video below:

I was actually about to feature another podcast show for today’s post when suddenly, out of the blue, I remembered having read about this particular tutorial by Marziah Karch on how to make a podcast feed – make a podcast feed using Blogger, to be exact. Anyhow, I also realized that I have yet to even share it with the rest of you, so here it is.

Her tutorial is pretty much straightforward and easy to follow, and by the time you finish you’ll then be able to use your Blogger account to create a Podcast feed that can be downloaded into iTunes and other “podcatchers.”

One more thing before you head off to the tutorial is that you first need to have a media file (mp3 or video file) ready and already uploaded onto a server because you’re going to need it in order for you to even get midway through. That said, CLICK HERE for the tutorial!

Frankly, I don’t know what the folks behind the studios were thinking but for some reason, as part of their promotion for the upcoming movie ‘Piranha 3DD’, they treated us with a short clip of David ‘The Hoff’ Hasselhoff playing out some tunes on an electronic keyboard.

That was just a few days ago, and if you think that scene was kind of pointless, wait till you see what they have for us now. It’s a video of Gary Busey talking about Piranha safety. The video consists bloopers and outtakes of Gary’s interview and HitFix was first to come out with the clip. You just gotta hand it to Gary being Gary. If it weren’t for his umm… eccentricity, the whole video probably would’ve looked more pointless than David’s (with all due respect to The Hoff).
