Jedi Funtime Episode 9 - Guard Duty with Corey Dee Williams and Stephen Costantino

2015-03-31 :: Jedi Funtime
Length: 1s

So here's Episode 9, yup 9, ignore us saying 8, its nine.  No really it is.  Anyway in this episode Corey Dee Williams (Klaatu) and Stephen Costatino (Gamorrean Guard) drop by to chat with us.  In case you're wondering they were both in the Jabba's barge scene over the Sarlacc pit and both had meetings with Luke Skywalker that didn't end so well.  We chat about music in the late 70's early 80's, stunt work, props and costume design, memories from the set and the scene, being Star Wars fans before and after, a classic 8mm video of the shooting that we somehow missed, getting the band back together at Celebration 7, working the convention circuit and how Star Wars can bring people of any age or race together.  I mean these guys were friends before being on Jedi and hearing some of the great stories about them jamming together was great and hearing them reminisce about being on set was just as great.  Stephen even told us about a 8mm film that someone shot during the filming (somehow it slipped past us but the rest of the internet knows about it) and a Blues band he played with in England named Blue Harvest.  So its a little longer than normal, 90 minutes or so (and yes I did cut stuff) but its well worth it.  So thanks for listening and enjoy!  Oh and links to the short film and Blue Harvest can be found below.

Jedi Funtime - Episode 8 - Star Wars Roadshow

2015-03-02 :: Jedi Funtime

So this episode was recorded on Sunday March 1st at the Culture Shock/Days of the Dead con in Indy.  Our fearless podcasters and their faithful AT-AT made it to Indy and back safely and during our time there we were privileged to not only watch the bounty hunter reunion panel but we were able to interview four of them! Yup, so this episode is all interviews, no filler, we interview Daniel Logan (Young Boba Fett from Attack of the Clones), Chris Parsons (4-LOM, K-3PO, C-3PO), John Morton (Dak, Boba Fett) and Alan Harris (Bossk and the fabled Super Trooper/Imperial Commando that would evolve into Boba Fett)  So we hope you enjoy listening to some great stories!

Jedi Funtime - Episode 01 - May the fourth be with you

2014-05-05 :: Jedi Funtime

Welcome to the first episode of Jedi Funtime, our new Star Wars podcast!  We've been planning it for quite a while now and we thought, "What better day to record our first episode than May 4th?"  which is widely known as Star Wars day.  So in our first episode we discuss what Margaret Thatcher had to do with May 4th, Wing Commander Star Wars links, Episode 7 casting, Jimmy's adventure at the Disney store's and fondly remember Lucas Arts gaming division.  So thanks for joining us and we hope you enjoy it!

PS.  Just an FYI, I say that the last game created by and published by Lucas Arts was The Force Unleashed, I was mistaken, they worked on Angry Birds Star Wars but their last big game was Star Wars Kinect.
