March 25th 2015… Today Our guest tonight will be entrepreneur, publisher, political organizer, and strategist Madison Paige. Madison facilitated the article publishing the goals of the New Abolitionists Movement in a 2014 edition of Bold Blue Magazine.

Our stories for tonight’s program include; · Missouri, Representative Emanuel Cleaver has come out with legislation he says will help keep the police under control by introducing a bill which would make “policing for profit ticket schemes” a federal civil rights crime. · Why won’t the US let the U.N. look inside its prisons? After a half-decade and a mandate by the U.N. to investigate solitary confinement practices, U.N. torture rapporteur Juan Mendez had to find a backdoor into an American jails. On March 16th his findings were released in a detailed report. Let’s examine it together. ·

Tonight we introduce a new weekly segment to be researched, reviewed and chronicled over the remainder of 2015. Once again, state by state we will closely examine incarceration statistics and uncover economic exploitation by state and local officials involved in unconstitutional, unlawful and illegal practices against American citizens in order to use the law as a revenue generator and racist population control tool. It’s called “Ferguson is everywhere.”

Tonight we begin with Alabama Is Ferguson.

Our Abolitionist in Profile will be Theodore Sedgwick Wright (1797-1847)

This week’s Rider Of The 21st Century Underground Railroad is Angel Gonzalez, whose rape and kidnapping convictions were reversed on March 9th 2015 based on DNA testing proving his innocence! Angel, who served close to 21 years for crimes he did not commit. Expect all of that and more tonight on New Abolitionists Radio.  …

Tonight on New Abolitionists Radio we will be joined by our Guest Heather Chapman from FL. Heathers son Nikko was arrested at 19 and placed into solitary confinement during his 10 year plea bargained mandatory sentence. He eventually became catatonic for a time. He's responsive now but barely holding onto life. His mother is not receiving any updates and is not allowed to see him. It’s a personal face on a personal story of what so many Americans face daily. We are not just a list of percentages. These are people with lives worthy of respect and dignity. We’ll hear heathers story tonight.

â€¢ Attica Prison Guards Plead Guilty To Misconduct After Beating Inmate. The ending of this story will not shock you. It should but it won’t.

ʉۢ The Ferguson Justice report has been leaked and shows at least 7 clear ways Ferguson police violated the Constitution. We can name two more. Slavery and human trafficking.

â€¢ A Video surfaces of a Fla. deputy dragging a mentally ill inmate through courthouse by shackles on her legs. She begs not to be beaten “again”. You have to hear this.

â€¢ In a stunning move by a US newspaper The New York Times is calling for the investigation and indictment of the Bush Administration for war crimes. We’ll tell you how this can affect the abolitionist’s movement.

Our Abolitionist in Profile will be Emma J. Atkinson of Chicago, (circa 1847)

This week’s Rider Of The 21st Century Underground Railroad is Ray Krone who was released from prison and on April 24th 2008 after 10 years of wrongful incarceration for murder, kidnapping, and sexual assault.  …

Chicago's War On Terror Techniques Torture and Black Sites

Tonight on New Abolitionists Radio we will break down the recent slave revolt at Willacy County Correctional, down in South Texas. Now that the smoke has cleared, the New Abolitionists will tell you the what/when/why and how all of this could happen. Is this the only way to bring about an end to modern day slavery and human trafficking- revolt?

The Memphis, Tennessee Police Department is threatening to demote dozens of African American police officers simply because they are standing up to racism in the department. Officials with the Memphis police say that African American cops would be forced to pay back money they earned after receiving promotions if they don’t back down from their claims against the department. In this battle against modern day slavery, we're all gonna have to make some sacrifices- can these cops step across the "Blue Line" and stand up for their own rights?

A Chicago detective who led one of the most shocking acts of torture ever conducted at Guantánamo Bay was responsible for implementing a disturbingly similar, years-long regime of brutality to elicit murder confessions from minority Americans. That's right- War on Terror tactics used against the poor and people of color, right here in the heart of AmeriKKKa. Plus, we'll tell you about a 2nd bombshell that dropped, related to this story- Chicago cops have been running CIA styled "Black Sites" for nearly a decade, maybe longer. Snatching up citizens, secretly torturing and questioning citizens, with absolutely NO regard for their Constitutional rights.

In our final headline news segment, we'll tell you about a Corizon medical doctor who works for GEO Group, who lets his fingers do the walking when it comes to treating inmates... he makes sure to perform unauthorized and completely invasive "prostate exams" on anyone who comes to see him with an injured ankle, with minor foot fungus or basically any type of illness or injury- everybody gets the finger. Inmates have filed several civil suits and we have the details.

Our Abolitionist in Profile is Samuel Cornish (1795 – 6 November 1858)- an American Presbyterian minister, abolitionist, publisher and journalist.

Our Rider of the 21st Century Underground Railroad is Susan Marie Mellen. …

Tonight on New Abolitionist's Radio we will be joined by Dawn Renee, the "Self Esteem Queen"- an educator, activist, poet and abolitionist- among other things. Sister Dawn will break down for us the situation in Adelanto, CA.- a town where they are facing a $2.6-million deficit and they are considering building a jail to house L.A. County inmates- this would be their 4th prison in a town of less than 35,000 citizens.

In the news,
Plaintiffs in two separate cases filed federal class action lawsuits against Ferguson and nearby Jennings, MO. over what they allege are municipal court systems that essentially operate as modern-day debtors’ prisons, targeting poor African-Americans for arrest and incarceration.
The New Abolitionists will tie those stories to a similar finding in a New York Times article detailing how jails have become warehouses for the poor, mentally ill and drug addicted.
In a recent Slate.com article Fordham Law School Professor  John Pfaff thinks he's why so many Americans are incarcerated- his scientific findings have nothing to do with slavery. The New Abolitionists will have to take back control of the narrative.
Our Abolitionist in Profile will be Caroline Still Wiley Anderson, physician and educator (1849-1919).
Our exonerated profile is John Conover who spent two years in jail after being falsely accused of killing his neighbor with a baseball bat.

Prisoners in Corcoran have been conducting hunger strikes off and on against inhumane treatment for awhile and one elderly prisoner died in 2004.
