Length: 1s

Its decision week in the NFL as the Patriots and other NFL teams get ready for the New League Year. The Patriots have used the franchise tag on Kicker Stephen Gostkowski.  Safety Devin McCourty is set to bean unrestricted free agent if a new contract is not signed before 4pm on March 10th.  Where do the Patriots and the representatives for star corner back Darrelle Revis stand in there negotiations?

Jeff Kane and Bobby Krivitsky break down that and more.   Including the luck the Patriots have had in kickers since Adam Vinatieri was brought on in 1996.  Could James White fill the void of a Shane Vereen departure or does the team need to lookat a player like Reggie Bush, who both Brain Daboll and Dave DeGuglielmo know well.

Will Malcolm Butler be able to rise up the ranks next season and will he be known for more than just his Surper Bowl play. Does his assention, mean that Brandon Browner could be a cap casualty as he is due a roster bonus to start the league year.

What will happen with Vince Wilfork, Jeff thinks he's a cap casualty while Bobby is looking for hope in a restructuring.

What about Danny Amendola, is he on the outs? Could a player like Josh Boyce take his place?  Why is Brian Tyms looked at with such lust by Patriots Nation, while Aaron Dobson is looked at like a bust.

2014-12-12
Length: 1s

On this weeks episode of Patriots Beat Jeff and Bobby break down the Patriots victory over the San Diego Chargers.  The defense was dominant and Jeff calls it the most complete defensive victory since the 2004 20-3 victory over the Colts

The Patriots just completed a gautlet of games, that most experts thought would define their team.  While many figured the Patriots would be lucky to go 3-3 during the stretch, they managed a 5-1 record.  Now they are three division wins away from home field advantage, throughout the playoffs.

This week the Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins. The Fins gave the Pats thier first season opening loss to open a season since 2003, when they dominated the second half in a 33-20 week one victory.  How will the Patriots defend a Dolphins team that can score points?  How will the Patriots offensive line fair against a defense that had four sacks week one.  Finally the fins have been giving up alot of yards in the run game as of late.  Will Josh McDaniels come up with a game plan that isn't "CUTE"

Marcus Cannon signed a two year, nine million dollar extention  Who is the next player to sign?  Will Revis be extended to avoid the $25 million cap hit?  Bobby wonders aloud if Tom Brady will ask the Patriots for more money

What is to be done with the NFL referees, and the flags they are throwing for legal hits?  All this and more on Patriots Beat!

Is Aqib Talib worth franchising...or a 3/4 year contract? With the return of injured players in 2014 is this team good enough to go all the way as they stand right now? Why do so many Patriot fans "hate" Payton Manning If the Patriots aren't the most successful franchise currently operating in the NFL...who is Are people over reacting to just how good Seattle is Will BB go against the crowd again this year with his 1st draft pick…
