Today:

Pulp Gamer returns from the GAMA Trade Show!  Don brings us the numbers from the show, and Scott reports on some stories from the floor, including the premiere of Star Wars: Attack Wing and Fluxx: The Boardgame, the financial success of Star Wars: X-Wing and Mage Wars, and newcomer success story Chaosmos.

We also acknowledge some industry figures who have passed away, including Diplomacy creator Allan B. Calhamer, Zombies!!! creator Todd Breitenstein, Phyllis Opolko of Alliance Game Distribution, and Richard Martin Leep of Greater Games Industry.

And in network news, several Pulp Gamer webseries have been nominated for awards at Phoenix Comicon, including The Adventures of Silver and Brass, The Bob and Angus Show, and Zhon: The Alien Interviews.

As of this writing, the Kickstarter campaign for Fate Core has reached over 10,000% of its original funding goal.  This week, Fred Hicks (Evil Hat Productions) discusses the campaign's success with us, and shares his tips for creating and maintaining a successful crowdfunding business model.

In site news, Pulp Gamer has now launched its silent steampunk serial, The Adventures of Silver and Brass.  Meanwhile, Zhon: The Alien Interviews approaches the series finale, and The Bob and Angus Show gears up for its sixth season.

This week:  Gen Con Indy!  Pulp Gamer Media will premiere its newest web series, The Adventures of Silver & Brass, on the main screen at the convention.

The World Wide Catan Championship will be held on September 14-16 in Valley Forge, PA.  Mayfair Games and Pulp Gamer will stream live content from the tournament floor.

Our jam packed schedule also includes Out of Character Live on August 21st, Can't Stop the Serenity Tucson on September 22nd, and the newly-revived RinCon 2012 on September 28-30.

Plus, in our continuing segment, we ask some prominent figures in the gaming industry the questions we want to know!  Our last question, "What should a game designer always remember to do?" couldn't fit in a single episode, so we're bringing you even more design advice!
