Episode 103: Renee & Cassie from the Motorcycle Industry Council
Todayâ€™s guests are Renee Tuzee - Director of Marketing & After Market Programs and Cassie Silhan - Senior Coordinator of Member Services, both from the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC). The MIC exists to preserve, protect and promote motorcycling through government relations, communications and media relations, statistics and research, aftermarket programs, development of data communications standards, and activities surrounding technical and regulatory issues.
Renee learned to ride minibikes, snowmobiles, and drive powerboats at age 8. She went on to have a career in marketing and advertising in the powersports industry including Sea-Doo and Vespa. She currently rides a Honda CBR250.
Cassie is also building a career in the powersports industry, including Akrapovic and Two Brothers. She learned to ride dirt bikes at age 13 and recently bought her first street bike, a Yamaha FZ-07, which already has 9,000 miles on it.…

Paul Flanders: He set a production class speed record of 64mph at Bonneville on Darryl Packardâ€™s Suzuki. He served as pit steward and starter for the night races at Irwindale Racing. Currently he promotes the LA-Barstow to Vegas National Dual Sport Ride as well as serving as an AMA track representative and committee member.
Shawn McConnell: Ran Pirate Speedway for 6 years. Has been racing speedway since he was 15 and continues to do so. Heâ€™s also a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse.
