Ep 3 - 'You' Projects

2015-01-21 :: Tj Cosgrove

This is the third episode of dialog, a podcast of curated ideas and discussions to challenge your preconceptions and expand your thinking.

I've been thinking about the difference between money making, and creatively pleasing projects. Unfortunately, they don't always overlap. It's easy to get so concerned with making ends meet and moving on up that ladder that you forget why you ever started doing what you do in the first place. Sometimes, the work you do gives back something better than just money.

Ep 1 - The Origin of Energy

2015-01-07 :: Tj Cosgrove

This is the first episode of dialog, a podcast of curated ideas and discussions to challenge your preconceptions and expand your thinking.

The Origin of Energy refers to the differing sources of inspiration and motivation introverts and extroverts can have. As an extrovert, I gain a lot of my motivation and energy from my surroundings, and as such, a messy house or office can wreak havoc on my creative work, leading to procrastination and distraction.
